Annie Catherine Timberlake

SUNSRISE MARCH 14, 1930 SUNSET NOVEMBER 20, 2003 The curtain of life for Annie Catherine McDewTimberlake arose on March 14, 1930, in New Britain, CT. when she was born to the late William and Annie B. Snipes McDew. She was a lifelong resident of New Britain, and graduated from New Britain Senior High School in the class of 1948. After graduation she attended Pratt Institute in New York, NY , where she studied Millinery and tailoring. She retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, after 25 years. Catherine was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she sang in the Concert Choir. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted daughter and son in law, Selina and Douglas Williams of Deltona, FL., a cherished sister, M. Charlotte Yopp of New Britain, a brother James Douglas McDew and wife Sadie of Middletown. She was predeceased by a brother William McDew of New Britain. She also leaves Aunt and Uncle James and Grace Snipes, of Ortega, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Catherine was called home from life's journey, entering into the Master's joy of eternal of life when her curtain fell on Thursday November 20, 2003, in Deltona, FL. Home Going services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, with calling hour at 10:00 AM, and Service at 11:00 AM, at Hopewell Baptist Church 280 Windsor Ave. Windsor, CT., with the Rev. David L. Massie officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Erickson- Hansen Funeral Services of New Britain.
