Anna Theresa Pavasaris, 90, formerly of New Britain, widow of Walter J. Pavasaris, died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Apple Rehab Center in Cromwell. Born in Bristol, she was a former Bristol resident and a New Britain resident most of her life. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and the Ladies Guild of the Church. Surviving are three sons, Walter M. Pavasaris and his wife Beverly of Needham, MA, Donald Pavasaris and his wife Elaine of Berlin, Richard Pavasaris and his wife Victoria, also of Berlin; a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony Zukowski and his wife Nellie of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren, Christopher Pavasaris and his wife Meghan, Ann Marie Musshorn, Mary Ellen Pavasaris, Donald John Pavasaris, Pauline Pavasaris, Peter Pavasaris, and Victoria Pavasaris; two great-grandchildren, Rielly Pavasaris and Taylor Musshorn; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab Center for the loving care provided to their mother. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church.
