Anna Mary Hummell

Anna M. Hummell, 93, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. She was the widow of Bernard C. Hummell. They had been married for 64 years. Anna was born on January 11, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Antoinette and John Urban of New Britain, CT. She was a graduate of the Class of 1940 at New Britain High School. Anna and her husband moved to Farmington, CT in 1953 after building their own home together. She is survived by her sister, Marion Farr of Berlin, CT; her daughter, Patricia A. Schultz and husband Wayne of Southington, CT; and her grandchildren, Lisa M. Schultz and Michael S. Schultz. In addition to her husband Bernard, she was predeceased by her sisters, Annette Urban, Alice Ramsey, Stasia Keevers, and her brothers, Joseph Urban and John Urban. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service.
