Anna Hladki

Anna Hladki, 96 of West Hartford, died peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Windsor, CT.  Born in Ukraine on October 15, 1928, she immigrated to the United States with her husband Jan and their children in 1952 from Germany, settling in New Britain.  Anna was a loving and faithful mother who enjoyed being with her family, walks at the seashore, cooking traditional meals, and watching both daily mass and her favorite movies.  All who knew her appreciated her warm and caring spirit, strength, resilience and sense of humor.  She will be dearly missed.

Anna leaves behind her children Zbigniew Hladki, Joseph Hladki, Mary Anne and her husband Larry Twain, and Julia and her husband Robert Rak.  She is also survived by her eight grandchildren Nichole Hladki, Rebecca Tamsin, Stacey and Andrea Hladki, David and Jessica Twain, and John and Timothy Rak, along with her eight great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Jan and their daughter Emma Miller.

Relatives may visit on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in New Britain at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
