Anna Fritzson

Anna Barattiero Fritzson, 87, formerly of Kensington, widow of Russell Fritzson, died peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Ridgeview Healthcare Center. Anna is survived by three daughters, Judith Peterson of Atlanta, GA, Martha Dirga of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Berlin, and Linda Locke Tarver of Marlborough, CT. Also surviving are two sisters, Matilda Deuson of Clinton, CT and Edith Barattiero of East Deering, NH; a sister-in-law, Celeste Barattiero of Ankorage, AK; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by three sisters and a brother, Josephine, Mabel, Emma and Alex. Anna was a life-long Berlin resident and was an active member of the Kensington Congregational Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in South Burying Ground, Kensington, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anna's memory to Kensington Congregational Church, 312 Percival Ave., Kensington, CT 06037 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
