Anna L. Arroyo

Anna L. Arroyo, 70, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Juan Arroyo.

Born in San German, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Torres and Beatrice Maria Santana. Anna was a resident of New Britain most of her life and was a member of St. Mary Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Marisol, Elizabeth, and Juan Jr.; her brothers and sisters, Anislao “Yayo”, Pedro, Julio, Francisco Jr. and Teresita; her grandchildren, William, Christopher, Angel, Katelyn, Janice, and Juan III; her great-grandchildren, Jay, Alexsis, Dante, Laisha, Kairi, Ariana, Isaiah, and Janiah; her sons-in-law, Herman Torres and Pablo Caraballo; her sister-in-law, Teresa Arroyo; close family friends, Kelly, Samara, and Mariola; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Saturday from 3-5 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
