Ann Mary Clarke

Ann M. Andrews Clarke, 86, of New Britain, died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Frank Andrews and Maria Gomes Andrews. She was a life long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. for 25 years before retiring. Surviving are a son, Daniel Andrews, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Ann was predeceased by her children, Joseph Andrews, Jr., Donald Andrews, and Miles Clarke, Jr.; by her siblings, Maria Montrond, Charles Andrews, Josephine Roderick, Lena Johnson, and Doris Silva; and by a grandchild, Dionne Andrews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
