Ana Santana

Ana (Fernandez) Santana, 74, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 at Hartford Hospital with her daughter Tina by her side. Born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Raul and Maria (Betancourt) Fernandez. Ana was a New Britain resident since 1967 and was a member of St. Mary Church, St Vincent DePaul, and many other groups and organizations. Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years, Martin Santana; three daughters, Tina Santana, Sylvia Santana, and Idaly Centeno; eight grandchildren including Chloe and C.J.; and other family members in Connecticut, New York and Puerto Rico. Funeral services will be held privately. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
