America "Tata" Orengo
America “Tata” Orengo, 66, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, Mar. 1, 2017 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in New Britain surrounded by her loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Nestor Orengo and America Mercado.
Surviving are four children, Jose Vargas, Abigail Vargas, Maria Vargas, and Nestor Vargas; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and eleven siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, from 9 AM to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial is to follow the funeral in Fairview Cemetery.Past Services
