Alicia A. Nielson

Alicia (Jelliffe) Nielson, 59, beloved wife of John Nielson, passed away on February 9, 2022 at John Dempsey Hospital. Alicia was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Joan (Gerback) Jelliffe.

Alicia was a member of Rocky Hill Methodist Church and worked at Met Life for 25 years. She was an amazing vocalist, cook and provider for her family. She was truly a beautiful soul with a smile for everyone and will be terribly missed.

In addition to her husband John of 36 years, she is survived by her son: Ian Nielson; her brother: John Jelliffe; her mother-in-law: Adeline Nielson; and her sister-in-law: Katie Nielson.
