Alby A. Pelletier, 79, of Kensington, beloved husband of Claire Martin Pelletier for 56 years, died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Ridgeview Healthcare Center. Born in Frenchville, ME, he was the son of the late Donat and Egline Bouchard Pelletier. He was a longtime Kensington resident and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree Color Guard, and St. Paul's Church. Before his illness, he was employed at Gnazzo's Food Center. He was also formerly employed at Acorn Equipment and at New Britain Machine. In addition to his wife Claire, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Rose Marie Pelletier of East Windsor, Michael and Sharon Pelletier of Plantsville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Greta and Larry Moro, Marilyn and Bernard Bergeron all of Wallkill, NY, Jacqueline and Norman Chamberland of Plainville; four brothers, Gilbert Pelletier of Kensington, Clifford Pelletier, Paul Emil Pelletier, and Joe Pelletier, all of Madawaska, ME; six sisters, Germaine Cyr and Gilmay Thereault both of Madawaska, ME, Jeannette Morneault of Lewiston, ME, Marie Mae Chamberland and Joan Ouellette both of St. Agatha, ME, and Jean Gagnon of Van Buren, ME; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
