Alan John Laviana

Alan John Laviana, 71, of Avon, Connecticut, passed away on August 17, 2021. Alan lived a full and warm life and will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Alan completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering at Central Connecticut State University. After many years working throughout Connecticut and transitioning over to the aerospace realm, Alan retired from Condor Pacific. Before and after retirement, Alan found passion in learning the investment market, bird watching, mushroom foraging, remaining a food connoisseur, and keeping up with his childrens' lives by providing a constant source of inspirational life advice.
Alan was predeceased by his parents, Orville and Jennie Laviana, and brothers Donald, Marc and Steven. He is survived by two children, Aaron and Brittany, his brother Robert, sister-in-law Linda Laviana, his two grandchildren, Bradford and Brookelyn Flowers, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Kensington, CT on October 16th, 2021 at 10:00AM.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
