Aino Tiik

Aino Tiik, 90, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. She was the widow of Aleksei Tiik. Born in Estonia, she was a New Britain resident since 1956. She was formerly employed at Emhart and was a member of the Estonian Lutheran Church in Manchester. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Tiik and Peeter Tiik, both of New Britain; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laine and John Edmiston of New Britain and Ulla and Thomas Barclay of Killingly; a sister, Maimu Reinla of Washington State; five grandsons; and three granddaughters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
