Aimi B. Austin

Aimi Beth Austin, 29, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of Cheryl (Warren) Austin of New Britain and the late Scott Austin. Aimi was a former Berlin resident before moving to New Britain in 2002. She was employed as a chef in food service and was a member of the Berlin Lions Club. She attended Bethany Covenant Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Coursey; a son, Aidan Coursey; her mother, Cheryl Austin; a brother, Devon Austin of East Berlin; her grandfather, Carroll Austin of Berlin; two uncles, Butch Warren and Tim Austin; an aunt, Susan Austin and her partner Julie Johnstone; and a niece, Grace Post. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 6:00 pm at Bethany Covenant Church, 785 Mill St., Berlin. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-6 pm at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain, CT 06051 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
