Aguedo Luna Alvarez
Aguedo Luna Alvarez, 89, of New Britain, husband of the late Ramona Luna, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the Cruz Luna and Providencia Alvarez. He was a New Britain resident since 1972 and was a member of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are his children, Luis Luna, Lydia Luna, Cruz Luna, Norma Luna, Luz Luna, Eduardo Luna, Efrain Luna, Juan Luna, Carmen Borrero, Heriberto Luna, Aguedo Luna Jr., Wanda Santiago, and Benjamin Rodriguez; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Rafael Luna and a daughter, Lisa Luna.
The family would like to thank My Care Companion, Hartford Healthcare at Home, and caregivers Maria Adorno and Bievenida for the loving care extended to Aguedo.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Funeral services and burial will be in Cidra, Puerto Rico.Past Services
