Adrian M. Cancel

Adrian M. Cancel, 50, of New Britain, departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, he was a life-long resident and was a US Army Veteran. He was formerly employed as an Iron Worker and was a member of Union Local 832. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and a devoted friend. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Rodriguez Cancel; his children, Marisol Quiles-Ribot, Melissa Cancel-Rose, Alexis Rodriguez, and Leslie Cancel; his mother, Natividad Lozada; his grandmother, Isabel Lozada; his brothers Ramon M. Cancel and Dionisio "Johnny" Irizzary; his sister, Cathy Israel; many grandchildren, and many nieces nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Ramon M. Cancel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-7 PM.
