Adelia Bouchard

Adelia "Dolly" Bouchard, 70, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Joseph Claude Bouchard. Born in Caribou, ME, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabel (Chambers) Bouchard. Dolly has been a long time New Britain resident, coming from Maine over 45 years ago. She has been a day care teacher at HRA of New Britain for many years, retiring in October 2011. Dolly was a member of St. Jerome Church. Surviving are her three daughters and sons-in-law, Carlene and Nicholas Karagiannis, Valerie and JR Segarra, and Kathy and John Schultz, all of New Britain, four brothers, Joseph, Gary, Reginald and Robert Bouchard, all of ME, her sister Mavis Gahagan of ME, her grandchildren, Brandon Blackstone, Amber Josephson, Jessica and Annie Segarra, Jason and Victoria Rodriguez, Jonathan Schultz, her great grandchildren, Alexander Gonzalez and Nathaniel Hackett. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Jerome Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
