She was a dedicated employee of Landers, Frary, & Clark as a time-keeper, electoral poll worker in New Britain, and later on was a devoted volunteer at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor. Adele and her husband Gene were proud Charter Members of the Church of Saint Jerome in New Britain, where they were lifelong residents.
Adele is predeceased by her beloved husband Gene of 71 years. She is also predeceased by her great grandson, James Frenette; her two devoted son-in-laws, Pete Noyes and James Vendetti; and her siblings, Peter Devoti, Esther Devoti, Ida Giglio, Victoria Giovanniello, Elaine Metayer, and Gloria Michaud. Adele is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Joan Noyes and Eleanor M. Vendetti; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Marc Vendetti and his wife Jennifer and their children Kai and Claire Vendetti; Janice Vendetti and her wife Bonnie McRee; Roxanne Vendetti and her children Joseph, Maya, and Sofia Frenette, and Joshua Vendetti; Michael Vendetti and his former spouse Mary Beth Kelliher and their children Mia, James, and Jack Vendetti; Susan V. Adele enjoyed a full life spending time at the beach, quilting with her family, playing cards with friends, and cooking for others. Perhaps her greatest joy and pride was attending sporting and musical events of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adele was adored by many special nieces and nephews, dear friends, and loved ones. She was commonly referred to as “mom” and “gram” by all who entered her home and heart, including the friends and extended families of her children and grandchildren.
Adele’s family would like to express their gratitude for the support and care provided by Pam Martell, Marisol Torres, and the staff from Keep Me Home and for the comfort of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.
